Echo/Stanfield Head Wrestling Coach
The Head Coach is responsible for all aspects of the wrestling program. The coach must demonstrate leadership in wrestler and staff development, sportsmanship, and character development. Qualified candidates should possess strong communication and organizational skills and exceptional knowledge of the skills and strategies of the sport of wrestling.
Working cooperatively with the Superintendent, Athletic Director, and other coaches to ensure adequate communication amongst all
Promoting the wrestling program within the school and community
Directing training, conditioning, and performance of the wrestling program
Emphasizing the importance of good sportsmanship, teamwork, and pride in school and community
Attending practices, tournaments, and meets unless otherwise approved.
Leading and supervising assistant coaches as they interact with teams/wrestlers assigned to them
Supporting and helping to provide direction to the Junior High and Youth Wrestling Programs.
